Disney’s new live-action film Aladdin based on their 1992 animated feature came out this past Friday. Growing up, Aladdin was my absolute favorite Disney Animated film, Jasmine was the Disney princess I looked up to the most, and Aladdin, like many other 90s girls, was my first crush. So when I was given the opportunity to see the film last night, I took it like a shot.

As 2018 come to a close, I wanted to reflect on the awesome books this year brought us. My personal Goodreads goal was 18 books in honor of 2018 and 47 books were read (and still counting!). I often find myself reading one book and then switch in the middle of book #1 to reading book #2 to sometimes jumping to book #3. It’s never really due to the story or writing. Often I’m just like “Squirrel!” and something else just exciting and enticing pulls me away.
