Hello! Have you joined in the Year of Epic Reads 2019 Reading Challenge yet? If yes, great to hear that! If you don’t know what it is or haven’t joined in yet, feel free to check out what the challenge is here. There is no better time to start than the present and this week we are reading a book set in a different era.
I enjoyed writing this post because of writing about historical fiction and fantasy books, but I also tried to spread out the eras with a variety of groups from Before Common Era (BCE) to 1950s to the present day.
Some of my personal favorites from this list include BLOOD WATER PAINT by Joy McCullough, ENCHANTÉE by Gita Trelease, THE LUXE by Anna Godberson, and THE BOOK THIEF by Markus Zusak. I really want to read FATAL THRONE by Candace Fleming, & more, DREAD NATION by Justina Ireland, and THE LIGHT BETWEEN WORLDS by Laura E. Weymouth to name a few.
Which of these books are you looking forward to read? Which historical fiction books have you read and adored? Let me know in the comments as I am always looking forward to finding a new book to read!
Thanks for stopping by!
